Foreskin restoration touch up surgery
This page will feature a 24 year old DTR user named "AKA" from Europe who has finished his restoring journey and had a rare "touch up surgery" done.  Since there is not much information on this surgery at all online I felt it was important to show it. This is all the information I have at this time and will be updating when more information becomes available to me. "AKA" would like to remain anonymous and has not provided me with an e-mail address that I can share with you at this time.

"I think in the two years wearing the dtr, I had tried almost every time and tension variants I could come by. I used the dtr typically 5 - 7 h every day, with varying tension settings. Some days here and there I use a combo routine, will say that I worn the dtr for 10-12 h. But normally 5 -7h then. In the last months I did the same on what you do or did, a routine where I used dtr for 2 hrs, took 1 h break, 2 h with dtr, 1h break, so finally 1-2 h with dtr. I changed between one and two elastics on the 6" rod, and manually tension setting with the screw. In the beginning I used the 4" rod, and so the 5" rod, and then finally the 6" rod. I also tried the 7" rod, but found out that 6" with two elastics was better. The first weeks in my restoration process I stared with the tape-ring method and manually stretching.
Before restoring
Before restoring
2 years of restoring with the DTR, partial erect coverage. This resembles what many intact men look like when they become erect.
"today was the day I've waited for long time. The touch up surgery has been performed, and I'm back from the hospital.  First I got injection of marcaine and xylocaine solution, local anaestetics.
The touch up procedure is a cone-plasty method.
I asked AKA what kind of routine he used with his DTR and this is what he said.

"known patient with the undersigned as previously circumcised and has operated tissue expanding to create more foreskin, and has regained much foreskin, but this is too loose, according to himself. We do this by a reverse wedge mirror. Wash clean, local infiltration anesthesia and pull the foreskin back. Going as pointed out from the base of the frenulum and showed point approximately in the middle of which will be the edge of the frenulum and forth and tip into the appropriate level. Removes excess foreskin. Bleedings be coagulated and sew it together with interrupted sutures. Trialling and see that it has been tightened in the circumference of the foreskin. Brulidine bandage."

After a little more than two years of restoring with the DTR "a.k.a." Chose to do a touchup surgery. The surgery basically removes some of the foreskin that is grown to create a more natural taper. Some names for this procedure are known as V plasty, or cone plasty.
This is a brief description of what the surgeon was intending on doing
Fast forwarding to approximately 4 months of healing.
The total heal time would be about six months. During the first few weeks there was swelling as with any surgery, and as time goes on the scar tissue will be more pliable.
With the skin rolled back you can see the scar line shown in this picture
With the skin forward and covering the glans nicely it would be hard for anyone to distinguish whether he was ever circumcised.
A view looking down into the foreskin
Again another view showing the rigid band created from the surgery
With the skin pulled back you can see how shiny the glands are.
Here the skin was pushed back to reveal the glans. Again looking very natural and smooth.
Another picture with the skin forward its natural state. My own opinion from experience with piercings is that as the healing continues the scar tissue should become softer and  he tip of his foreskin will actually get tighter since the skin will be able to wrinkle and contract easier. Time will tell and he has promised to keep me updated so I can keep everyone else updated on his restoration.
Please remember this is another DTR user who chose to do a touchup surgery after two years of restoring. The surgery is not a necessity for most restoring men.

A.k.a. using the advanced inner grip method
Experimenting with the weight method.
After two years a restoring his foreskin growth was phenomenal.
After this point of restoring some men choose to stop since they have achieved full flaccid coverage. Since restored foreskin does not have the rigid band that many uncut men have this can mean that the foreskin will not cover the glands 100% of the time.

If this is a problem at this point the options are to continue to restore and gain more overhang, have a foreskin piercing done or do a touchup surgery. A.k.a. chose to do a touchup surgery.

He also used the air method and found this method to be very useful.  Using the air method for 2-5 h every day, often in combination with the inner super grip method, manual streching.
"This is how he started to restore, with tape-ring method. He used this method to create enough skin to could wear the DTR. He used tape-ring 24/7 for about six weeks."
Above is a basic idea on what is done, skin is removed in a wedge and sewn together. The cost of this operation was about $900. I must say it looks much worse than it probably was. Considering what a circumcision looks like.
He used small strips of medical tape as a kind of butterfly bandage so that the stitching would not get much pressure especially during nocturnal erections that would happen when he was sleeping. After the stitches came out and the skin healed the use of the tape was no longer needed.
This picture was taken after a few days from the initial procedure.
As the first few weeks went by the swelling went down in the real healing process began.
This is an uncommon procedure to have done after restoration. This is something that some men choose to do to make their new restored foreskin look as natural as possible if they are not fully satisfied with the results.
