This is for more medium ( 3-6 months ) to advanced ( 6-12 months) restorers that want even more gripping power due to higher tension settings. I say this because you need some skin to work with, You need enough skin where you can roll skin over the bell with the gripper under your skin..
As you can see in this picture, there are two grippers being used.
the gripper on the bell stays there. The DTR works just like normal but with an added gripper that stays on the bells surface.
Super Grippers are made like normal grippers but without holes.
This picture shows the nice clean beveled edge.
This does make the DTR's bell a little wider. 1.5mm wider.
It's really not that big of a difference but this does cause the original gripper to sit higher when applied.

As mentioned before the gripper now sits higher on the skin and the bell. The benefit is gripping power that is twice as strong as the original. In my experiments and testing It does not slip or give at all.
This is more for medium to advanced restores that want to use higher tension settings. Not recommended for beginners where the original DTR grip design should provide enough tension without slipping.

This extra Gripper to do this trick comes with every DTR kit since it has worked out so well.
When using higher tensions you might find that the push plate might cause more discomfort. To help this problem , I have found using little latex free make-up sponges. These things can be used as is or cut them smaller if you prefer.
They are better then cotton or tissues since the don't leave pieces stuck to your glans.
They can be washed and reused and will last about a week.
Inexpensive and easy to get everywhere.
