DTR Screws
The stainless steel screw is used to keep the push rods from moving, This is used in manual dual tension, weighted and tugging methods.
Nylon screws are used to hold elastics when using dual tension method. They are not long enough to press against the push rod and are only used to hold elastics.
DTRs made before 8-1-2011 used these stainless steel screws. These were originally designed to prevent the user from over tightening the screw, The rubber would slip if tightened to much. I made the decision to re design the screw to the new nylon head. This head will not come off like the rubber head and will allow the user to be able to tighten the screw more.
These newer style screws are now standard on all DTR made since 8-1-2011.
